Cookie Policy

This policy explains what cookies are, which ones DOVAmfg("we", "us") uses on dovamfg.com and the DOVAmfgapplication, and how you can control them. Short version: inside the DOVAmfg application we only use cookies that are essential to run the service. On our public website (the dovamfg.com marketing pages) we use one advertising-measurement cookie from Google Ads, and only if you accept it in the cookie banner.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. They help websites remember who you are between pages and visits — for example, to keep you logged in.

Cookies we use

Inside the application DOVAmfg uses only first-party, essential cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Hotjar, or similar trackers anywhere. We count page views with Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless: it stores nothing on your device, does not identify you, and does not follow you across other websites. On the public website only, and only after you click Accept in the cookie banner, the Google Ads tag sets a cookie so we can see which of our ads brought a visitor who booked a demo.

• Authentication cookies — set by our authentication provider (Supabase) so you do not have to log in on every page. Expire when your session ends or you sign out.
• Security cookies — used to protect against cross-site request forgery (CSRF). Expire with your session.
• Preference cookies — remember small UI choices such as light or dark theme.
• Internal-traffic marker — a first-party cookie set only forDOVAmfg staff and test accounts so our own visits are left out of the page-view counts. It carries no personal data.
• Cookie-choice cookie — a first-party cookie that remembers whether you accepted or declined the banner, so we do not ask again for six months. Public website only.
• Google Ads measurement cookie — set by Google only after you accept the banner, on the public website only. It lets Google tell us that a visitor who clicked one of our ads later booked a demo. Ad personalisation is switched off. Governed by Google's advertising policy. Choose "Essential only" in the banner and nothing from Google loads.
• Payment cookies — set by Stripe on our billing pages to process payments securely. Governed by Stripe's cookie policy.

How to control cookies

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking our essential cookies will prevent you from signing in to DOVAmfg — the application will not work.

Changes to this policy

When we change what cookies we use, we update this page and change the date at the top. Anything beyond essential cookies is asked for first through the cookie banner, and you can change your mind by clearing the cookie-choice cookie in your browser.
